Type A Alerts

All type A alerts, if activated, inform the employee, offering them the opportunity to cancel their movement.

In the event that they decide to continue with the statement, the manager will be notified via email or Viber.

Α1 Working without schedule

In cases where no hours have been declared in the employee’s “Work Plan” tab, but movement is detected, then it informs the employee via the cardScanner device. The system will ask them to confirm if it is an incorrect movement , offering them the option to cancel their entry. If they decide to continue with the declaration, the manager will be informed via e-mail or Viber.

Example: If the employee does not have any work hours declared within Epsilon Smart and takes an action, they will receive a notification on the cardScanner ⚠ screen. If they choose to continue the action, the administrator will be notified.

 

Α2 Rest or no work

In cases where rest or no work has been declared in the employee’s “Work Plan” tab, but an action is detected, then the employee is informed via the cardScanner device. The system will ask them to confirm if it is an incorrect action, offering them the option to cancel their entry. If they decide to continue with the action declaration, the administrator will be informed via e-mail or Viber.

Example: If the employee has rest or no work declared in the “Work Plan” section within Epsilon Smart and takes an action, they will receive a notification on the cardScanner ⚠ screen. If they decide to continue the action, the administrator will be notified.

 

Α3 Work on leave

In cases where leave has been declared for the employee, but movement is detected, then it will inform the employee via the cardScanner device. The system will ask them to verify if it is an incorrect movement, offering them the option to cancel their entry. If they decide to continue with the movement declaration, the administrator will be informed via e-mail or Viber.

Example: If the employee is on leave for the day, and it is also declared within Epsilon Smart and takes an action, they will receive a notification on the cardScanner ⚠ screen. If they decide to continue the action, the administrator will be notified.

 

Α4: Clock in on teleworking

In cases where a clock in is detected on a day where the employee is declared as working remotely in the “Work Plan” tab, then the employee is informed via the cardScanner device.The system will ask them to confirm if it is an incorrect movement, offering them the option to cancel their entry. If they decide to continue with the movement declaration, the administrator will be informed via e-mail or Viber.

Example: If the employee has telecommuting entered in their time sheet in the “Work Plan” section within Epsilon Smart and takes an action, they will receive a notification on the cardScanner ⚠ screen. If they choose to continue the action, the employer will be notified.

 

Α5: Incorrect Input Type

The A5 alert is generated in cases where an entry has been registered, and the employee tries to register a new entry (without a previous exit). The system will ask them to confirm if it is an incorrect entry , offering them the option to cancel their entry. In case they decide to continue with the entry declaration, the administrator will be informed via e-mail or Viber.

Example: If the employee has clocked in at the start of business hours and at the end of business hours inadvertently selects clock-in again, the application, not detecting any intermediate exit movement, will display an alert on the cardScanner ⚠ screen. If they choose to continue the action, then the employer will be notified.

 

Α6: Incorrect output type (after previous output)

The A6 alert is generated when an employee’s entry and exit has already been registered in the day’s range, and the employee attempts to register a new exit without a previous new entry. The system will ask them to confirm if this is an incorrect entry, giving them the option to cancel the entry. If they decide to continue with the movement declaration, the administrator will be notified via email or Viber.

 


 

Α7: Incorrect output type (no previous input)

The A7 alert is triggered when no entry has been registered, and the employee tries to enter an exit (without a new entry). The system will ask them to confirm if this is an incorrect entry, giving them the option to cancel the entry. If they decide to continue with the movement declaration, the administrator will be notified via email or Viber.
